1. Purpose of the Service

Through the website www.hisparos.com, users may contract certified sworn translation services for documents. Translations are carried out by officially authorised sworn translators in accordance with the applicable regulations.

2. Definition of “Page”

For the purpose of calculating fees:

  • A page is considered to be each side of a document in PDF, JPG or PNG format that contains legible text or relevant information.
  • To ensure proportional pricing, a maximum limit of 300 words per page is established.
  • If any page side exceeds 300 words or shows an unusually high text density, Hisparos may adjust the quotation, notifying the client before starting the translation.

3. Contracting Process

Upload of documents:
The client uploads the files to be translated to the platform in PDF or image format.

Price calculation:
The system calculates the fee based on the number of pages and the urgency level selected by the client (standard or urgent). The system does not calculate the price automatically based on the uploaded documents; the client is responsible for accurately indicating the number of pages to be translated.

Confirmation and payment:
The client reviews the information, confirms the details and makes the payment using the methods available on the website.

Start of service:
Once payment has been confirmed and the documents verified, the service begins.

Delivery:
The translation is delivered in PDF format signed digitally or in a PDF reproducing the translator’s ink stamp and handwritten signature, as applicable.
No postal shipments of sworn translations are offered.

4. Delivery Times

  • Standard delivery: 6 business days.
  • Urgent delivery: 48 hours.

Delivery times begin once payment has been verified and provided that the documents are legible, complete and suitable for translation.
If additional clarifications are required, they will be requested from the client as soon as possible and may affect the final delivery time.

5. Prices and Payment Methods

Prices are shown in euros and do not include applicable taxes, which will be added to the initial price where appropriate.
Payment is made through the electronic methods offered on the website.
An invoice will be issued if the client requests it.

6. Review and Modifications

Corrections for errors attributable to the sworn translator will be made at no additional cost.

Any modification resulting from errors, changes or new requirements from the client will incur an additional cost.

If the final document provided for translation does not match the one initially uploaded (additional pages, altered content, insufficient quality), the price will be recalculated subject to the client’s prior approval.

Reissue of Sworn Translations

The reissue of any previously completed translation (due to loss, damage, changes not attributable to the translator, or the need for an additional copy) will be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the original price.

7. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article 103.c of the Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sworn translation services, as they constitute a personalised service.
Therefore, once the translation process has begun following payment confirmation, the client may not withdraw from the contract.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Hisparos guarantees the confidentiality of all documents and data provided by the client, using them exclusively for the performance of the contracted service.
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with current legislation and the Privacy Policy available on the website.

9. Liability

Hisparos undertakes to deliver sworn translations that comply with applicable regulations.
However, Hisparos shall not be liable for:

  • The use that third parties (authorities, companies or organisations) make of the translation.
  • Rejections based on external criteria or additional requirements beyond the translator’s control.
  • Delays caused by lack of client response, defective documentation or circumstances beyond Hisparos’ control.

10. Delivery

The completed translation is delivered exclusively by download or digital delivery to the client’s email address.
As a digitally issued or digitised sworn translation, it is fully valid under the applicable regulations.

11. Claims

The client may submit claims or requests for information to the customer support email indicated on the website. Claims must be submitted within 7 calendar days following the delivery of the service.
